Error: 'Can not authenticate the user account, contact systems administrator'

If you see an error which says 'Can not authenticate the user account, contact systems administrator' when accessing Westminster, this can be resolved using the following steps:

  1. Check you are using a compatible browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, MS Edge, Safari)
  2. Clear your browser’s cookies and caches
  3. Check if a saved browser bookmark is being used to access Westminster – it should be deleted as it may have expired
  4. Navigate to Westminster via the icon on your Defence Gateway Applications page
